How to delete your account

1. Open The Cool Table.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Tap Settings (the gear icon).
4. Tap DELETE ACCOUNT.
5. Confirm by tapping Delete.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. It removes your account, home profile, reviews and posts, photos, follows, reactions, comments and blocks. See the Privacy Policy for the full list.

Can't get into the app? Email hello@thecooltable.app from your account's email address and we'll delete the account for you.

How to clear your home profile

Your home profile (birthplace, places lived and food cultures) is optional. To remove it:

1. Go to the Profile tab.
2. Tap EDIT PROFILE.
3. Remove every birthplace, place lived and food culture entry.
4. Tap SAVE.

Once cleared, the short line shown next to your name (for example, "Italian, from Italy") and any INSIDER badges on your reviews no longer appear.

Location, camera and photo access

The app asks for location (while in use) to show nearby restaurants, and for camera or photo access only when you add a photo. To change any of these, open the iOS Settings app and tap The Cool Table.
